New workshops!
Adapt Part 1: Divorce Preparation Workshop
Adapt Part 2: Parenting Plans

Attendance in Adapt Part 1 is not required for Part 2. Women may attend one or both workshops.

Adapt Part 1: Divorce Preparation Workshop
Empower yourself with knowledge about the divorce process. The facilitator will explain answers to common questions such as:

What are the different types of divorce (collaboration, mediation, litigation, self-representation)?
How do I actually file? What do I do if my spouse files first?
What paperwork do I need to start collecting?
Where do I find support for myself and my children?

Adapt Part 2: Parenting Plans
With the guidance of a facilitator who is both a parent and an attorney, think through the parenting considerations of divorce. The facilitator will help you create the questions that are important to you.

What do I want for my child throughout the divorce process? What is best for my child?
How do I reflect my wishes in the parenting plan?
What questions do I need to ask myself before agreeing to a parenting plan? Custody, child support, holidays, and what else?

  • Both workshops open to women considering divorce or in the early stages of the process. Attendance in Adapt Part 1 is not required for Part 2.
  • $10 registration fee per workshop.
