By appointment only.
For more information, please contact the Umbrella Center at 203-789-8104 for crisis support.

Through our partnership with the Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services, a program of BHcare, we help connect clients to crisis services and coordinate short-term, private counseling for survivors of domestic violence and/or their loved ones.  Any woman or man facing abuse by an intimate partner may receive services from the Umbrella Center.  Women & Family Life Center can assist you with making that first call to the hotline.  Appointments are made by Umbrella Center, and then you may meet with a trained Domestic Violence Advocate Counselor  right here at our Center or elsewhere across the Shoreline.

Walking into our Center provides some anonymity–if someone sees you walk in, they will never know you are here for counseling, for we offer Yoga, parent programs and more!

The Umbrella Center services include individual counseling, support groups, safety planning, filing of temporary restraining orders, emergency sheltering and criminal court advocacy.

If you need immediate, confidential assistance, help is available 24 hours a day.
